Alex Lawrence, Superintendant of Construction, joined our team in 2006. Alex is responsible for the scheduling and oversight of all projects from beginning through completion. Alex is a graduate of the University of Georgia and has industry experience including various types of marine construction projects in piledriving, bridge construction, dock construction, bulkheads, seawalls and foundations. Jim Brown, our Construction Coordinator and company Chaplain also performs the Inventory Control and Safety Director responsibilities. Nancy Lucas, our Permit Administrator, is a lifelong Beaufort resident and often the first voice you hear when calling O'Quinn Marine. Nancy has been with the company since 2005 and has a wealth of knowledge to help our clients secure permits including critical area permits through Ocean Coastal Resource Management, Beaufort County and the various Architectural Review Boards and Homeowners Association approvals. Barbara Wing, Controller, is responsible for invoicing, collections and the company's accounting. Barbara is our most recent addition and comes to O'Quinn Marine with experience in public accounting and consulting. Barbara holds a Bachelor of Business Administration: Management from Bryan College and a Master of Accounting from NC State University.
